WHO WE ARE
S.W.A.N. of Central Florida aims to provide patients safe access to critical medical and abortion care. As clinic escorts, we volunteer to protect patients from the harassment of nasty, misogynistic, and sometimes violent protestors as they seek family planning services with the support of their doctor. We will not give up until each person has guaranteed bodily autonomy and the right to choose freely without judgment. We believe in protecting abortion rights by all means necessary, and often use humor and engagement to protect our clinic and our community. We center the experience of the patients we serve while standing strong against the extreme right-wing forces attempting to strip people capable of pregnancy of their most fundamental rights and freedoms.
